Inside Out Media LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the CandidaCrush mobile application (the "App").

PLEASE READ THIS PRIVACY POLICY CAREFULLY. BY USING THE APP, YOU CONSENT TO THE DATA PRACTICES DESCRIBED IN THIS POLICY. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH THE PRACTICES DESCRIBED HEREIN, PLEASE DO NOT USE THE APP.

1. Our Core Privacy Principle: Local-First Data

Your health data stays on your device. CandidaCrush is designed as a "local-first" application. All personal health information you enter — symptom logs, food entries, biometric readings (glucose, ketones, weight, sleep), protocol progress, and achievements — is stored exclusively on your mobile device. We do not collect, store, process, or have access to your personal health data on our servers. Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export it or connect a third-party integration.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide (Stored Locally Only)

• Health and Wellness Data: Symptom severity ratings, food logs, meal entries, gut scores, glucose readings, ketone readings, weight entries, sleep logs, supplement tracking, and protocol phase progress.
• Account Information: If you create an account, your email address and authentication credentials.
• User Preferences: Notification settings, dietary preferences, reminder schedules, and app customization choices.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically (Anonymized)

• Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and unique device identifier (for crash reporting and app analytics only).
• Usage Analytics: Anonymized, aggregated data about feature usage. This data cannot identify you personally.
• Crash Reports: Technical information about app crashes to diagnose and fix issues.

2.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect:

• Personal health data on our servers
• Precise geolocation data
• Contact lists or address book information
• Photos or camera data (unless you explicitly upload a profile photo)
• Browsing history from other apps or websites
• Payment information (handled by Apple App Store / Google Play Store)

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the App
• Personalize your experience (e.g., protocol phase recommendations)
• Send you notifications and reminders you have opted into
• Monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities in connection with the App
• Detect, investigate, and prevent technical issues and fraudulent transactions
• Comply with legal obligations

4. Third-Party Integrations

The App offers optional integrations with third-party health services. When you choose to connect these services, the following data sharing occurs:

4.1 Google Fit

If you connect Google Fit, the App reads weight and sleep data from your Google Fit account. This data is stored locally on your device. We do not store Google Fit data on our servers. You may disconnect Google Fit at any time through the App settings.

4.2 KetoMojo GK+

If you connect a KetoMojo GK+ device via Bluetooth, glucose and ketone readings are transmitted directly from the device to the App on your phone. This data is stored locally. KetoMojo does not receive your data from us.

4.3 Payment Processors

Premium subscriptions are processed by Apple App Store and Google Play Store. We do not collect or store your payment card information. All payment processing is subject to the Platform Provider privacy policies.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may disclose information only in the following circumstances:

• With your explicit consent
• To comply with legal obligations, court orders, or subpoenas
• To protect the rights, property, or safety of the Company, our users, or the public
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case you will be notified before your information is transferred

6. Data Security

Because your health data is stored locally on your device, security is primarily managed by your device's operating system (iOS or Android). We recommend: (a) keeping your device's operating system updated; (b) using device passcodes, Touch ID, or Face ID; (c) enabling device encryption; (d) not jailbreaking or rooting your device.

If you choose to enable optional cloud backup, your data will be encrypted in transit and at rest using industry-standard encryption (AES-256).

7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

• Access: Request a copy of any personal data we hold about you
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
• Deletion: Request deletion of your data (by deleting the App from your device)
• Portability: Export your data in a standard format through the App's export feature
• Opt-out: Disable analytics and crash reporting in App Settings

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

9. Data Retention

Because your health data is stored locally on your device, we do not retain it on our servers. Your data remains on your device until you: (a) delete the App; (b) use the App's data deletion feature; or (c) factory reset your device.

Anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely for app improvement purposes.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App and updating the "Effective Date" at the top. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
